---------------------------

The Other Side of Evolution is a collection of songs recorded over 18 months in multiple rain-soaked downtown apartments in Portland Oregon. The secret to all of my acts of creation is simple:

Begin with a poem, then remove all traces of self.

I'm not yet certain as to which face of the two-sided coin of beauty and destruction is more inspiring, so I've done my best to balance the two. The album is a journey through the unnerving graces and wiles of fractal modernity, filtered through the whiskey-soaked pentip of a lost prophet.

I want to sincerely thank all of my teachers and co-stars of this album. A special thanks to Nick O'Donnell, Aaron Knudson, Elliot King, Mom and Dad, Mikola Accuardi, Talen Couey & Matt Zeltzer. The eternal curiosity of the confused and zealous bard upon my shoulder will likely grant me many more years of spontaneous creation, so I thank it too.
